The following questions were asked in a public opinion survey analyzing support for the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act (DREAM Act).
- Would you favor or oppose the DREAM Act? Is that STRONGLY (favor/oppose) or NOT SO STRONGLY (favor/oppose)?
- Do you agree that states - not the federal government - should have the ability to determine whether or not to provide in-state tuition to illegal immigrant students residing in their state? Is that STRONGLY (agree/disagree) or NOT SO STRONGLY (agree/disagree).
The random digit telephone survey was conducted by Opinion Research Corporation (ORC). ORC used a national probability sample of 1,008 adults comprising 506 men and 502 women 18 years of age and older. Interviewing for this survey was completed during the period of June 10-13, 2010. The poll’s margin of error is +/- 3%.
